The M908 has 18 programmable buttons (out of 19 total, including the scroll click). The 12 side buttons are ideal for MMO macros, while the others cover standard functions and DPI.
 
 
2. What sensor is used and is it good for FPS?
 
It uses the Pixart PMW3327 Laser sensor. While it is excellent for MMOs and MOBAs due to its high DPI count (up to 12,400) and stability, high-end competitive FPS players (CS:GO, Valorant) may prefer specific optical sensors to avoid any type of acceleration or movement prediction, although the M908 performs very well at 1000Hz and 30G.
 
 
3. How do I install the software? Does it come with a CD?
 
There is no CD included. To access full programming, fine DPI adjustment and RGB configuration,
you should download the latest driver directly from Redragon official website (redragonzone.com). The mouse works as plug-and-play without software, but with functionality limited to factory settings.
 
 
4. Can I turn off the RGB lights?
 
Yes, but there is no physical button for that on the body of the mouse. You must use the official software to set the lighting profile to "Off" or set the color to black/off.

Yes. The M908 has 5 onboard memory profiles. After configuring your buttons, macros and DPI in the software, you save them in the desired profile. The mouse memorizes these settings internally, working with them on any computer, even without the software installed.
